Terms of Service
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Geenlo. By creating an account or using the service you accept them.
Draft. This page has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before Geenlo launches publicly.
1. The service
Geenlo ("the service") is operated by the Geenlo team. It helps businesses create ads with AI, score and policy-check them, and, as integrations become available, launch and measure them on advertising platforms. Some features are in early access, shown as "open soon" or "demo" in the app, and may change or be withdrawn.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. If you use Geenlo for a company or client, you confirm you have the authority to bind them. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your login details secure.
3. Your content and our output
- Your content is what you give us: store details, product information, images, briefs, reviews and brand assets. You keep ownership. You give us a limited licence to host, process and send it to our providers only to operate the service for you. You confirm you have the right to use it.
- Generated ads are created for you from your content. As between you and us, you may use them for your own marketing. Because AI output can be similar for different users, we cannot promise it is unique, and rights in it may be limited by law or by our providers' terms.
- Disclosure. You are responsible for labelling AI-generated or altered content where a platform or law requires it, and for getting consent from anyone whose name, voice, image or review you use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Geenlo to:
- break any law or the rules of an advertising platform you use (Meta, TikTok, Google and others);
- make misleading, deceptive or unsubstantiated claims, fake testimonials, or ads for prohibited or restricted products;
- impersonate a person or brand, or use someone's likeness or a celebrity without permission;
- copy a competitor's copy, logo or creative (Competitor tools are for inspiration and structure only);
- upload malware, probe or disrupt the service, scrape it, or bypass limits, credits or security;
- create many free accounts to obtain extra credits.
We may block content, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and report illegal activity.
5. Advertising platforms and policy checks
When you connect an advertising account, you authorise Geenlo to act on it within the permissions you grant, and you stay bound by that platform's terms. You are responsible for your ads, budgets and spending. Our policy pre-check and scores are estimates to help you; a pass does not guarantee approval and a score does not guarantee results. Platforms decide what is approved and can change their rules at any time.
6. Credits, plans and payments
- Credits are consumed when you run features such as generation or localisation. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred. If a job fails on our side, the credits are returned.
- Paid plans are not open yet. When they are, prices, billing periods, taxes, renewals and refunds will be shown before you pay, and payments are handled by Stripe.
- Spending credits requires a verified email address.
7. Third-party services
Geenlo depends on third parties (for example hosting, AI model providers, Google sign-in and advertising platforms). We are not responsible for their services or changes to them.
8. Our rights
Geenlo, its software, design and branding belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
9. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Geenlo at any time and ask us to delete your data (see Data deletion). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or if we stop offering the service; where reasonable we will tell you first. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers and liability) continue after ending.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that AI output will be accurate, lawful in your market or suitable for your purpose, or that you will achieve any advertising result. Check generated content before you publish it.
11. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Geenlo will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or advertising spend wasted on ads you chose to run. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms. We will give notice of material changes by email or in the app. If you keep using Geenlo after they take effect, you accept them.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the Geenlo team is established, and courts there have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you other rights.
14. Contact
